Jihong Chen is currently running her family office with investments both in the US and Asia focusing on biotech, healthcare, technology, consumer brands. She is actively involved in serving and advising the portfolio companies as the board member and sponsoring/mentoring the young entrepreneurs and startups. The office is also working as the limited partner with the other US/Asia PE/VC funds, such as Carlyle/KKR/CiticPE.

 

Previously Jihong worked for Goldman Sachs as investment banker for multiple IPO and SOE restructuring/acquisition projects in Asia. She also cofounded and managed several businesses in apparel/textile export and real estate development in China.

 

Prior to relocating to US, she worked as the senior advisor to CiticPE fund for Investment and Risk control. She also served as the board member to her alma mater UIBE and sponsored the research center and program development at UIBE.

 

Jihong received her MBA from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania as Palmer Scholar, Master of Economics from the Peking University and BA of Economics from the University of International Business & Economics (UIBE).
